San Diego (August 10, 2010) – Superior Mobile Medics (SMM), nationwide provider of mobile medical examination services to the insurance industry, today announced the appointment of Joseph Gaudio as its new Chief Executive Officer. Gaudio succeeds the company’s founding CEO, Kevin Sanders, who remains at SMM as President and Founder. To complete the executive team, the company also announced that Melanie Carter was appointed Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

Gaudio will assume full operational responsibility for the company while Sanders will focus on business development and corporate strategy and Carter will focus on marketing and customer service.

Joe brings a wealth of experience to SMM on so many levels.  Melanie and I are proud of what SMM stands for today and are very excited for Joe to guide us through the next phase of SMM’s growth.

Joe has over 15 years of executive level experience in various industry types and has helped different companies from the start-up phase to multi-national conglomerates. He excels at managing organizational development, process improvements and operational efficiencies.
