Project Athena Racing Team’s Danelle Ballengee and her teammate won the Moab Adventure Extreme 12 hour adventure in Utah on Saturday April 14th. This adventure included mountain biking, running, kayaking and rappelling in one of the most popular canyon course locations on earth. Congratulations Danelle!

The Project Athena Foundation:
Project Athena will be hosting numerous events this year, all encouraging survivors of traumatic or medical setbacks to get back out there and accomplish something they never thought possible. Teams are comprised of four members who all run a 10K loop of the downtown Richmond race course for a combined 26.2 mile marathon! This event also features a Mini Athena / Mini Zeus Kids Challenge which includes a 1K fun run and inflatable obstacle course finish! >> Richmond Relay Marathon

Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim to Rim Adventure June 13-17th 2012– This adventure is not one to miss! You will be able to join Project Athena Survivors as they trek through the Grand Canyon. Starting on the South Rim, you will hike 24 miles to the North Rim and then back. Take in the beautiful scenery as you make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime! >> Grand Canyon Adventure
